Battle of the Mind
People often say that losing weight and getting in shape is 80% diet…but I firmly believe that even though diet is a huge part, we must go deeper and look at mind set as being the strongest factor for successful weight loss and fitness.
If you have the right mind set and you look at what you’re doing in a proper manner, success is imminent. BUT if you do not have the proper mindset then you immediately go back to the bad habits, bad diet, and keep the body that you would actually like to change.
Figure out your reasoning for wanting to have success in the program. Think about it, write it down, break it down, and then you can figure out your goals from there.
Ask the questions: Why? When? How?
Make the plan and work towards a goal.
When you have the mind set of knowing what your goals are and why you want to achieve them, all you’ve got to do is think about those goals, and they’ll lead you the entire way along your program.
Lose your mindset, you lose sight of your goals, and you can’t possibly succeed.
Know what you’re out for and you know what your goals are and you know what you’re out to accomplish, and why you want to accomplish it, then it’s easy to make that path and follow it.
If you know why you want to be in shape, why you want to lose the body fat, and what your goals are, then when temptation to cheat comes along all you have to do is play that card…pull that card out and say this is why I’m doing this. This is why I’m going to stick on the path right now rather than failing and cheating.
So, always work on the mind set. As long as you know your goals, you’re ready to go.
